Vague Game Description by White Masq:
Many years into the future, a medical conglomerate has created an artificial life form called a “Seal”. Of course, being money-grubbing capitalists, they begin development for selling these “Seals”. However, one of these beings, named Emma, becomes sentient enough to decide to escape. You play as a Seal that was bred for combat and is sent further into the facility to capture the renegade. Explore the laboratory in real-time 3D and find Emma before she leaves the building and reveals the company’s secrets.

um jw when i download this ... it says the file is only 584mb. is that right?

depends on the program you and how it displays the number

advertisers use 1 meg = 1000k to inflate the size. ever wonder why the HDD box at the store says 300GB but when you install and format you see like 270GB?

when its supposed to be use 1 meg = 1024k

when I try to watch the replays, the screen turns black and all i can do is click untill it ends. enyone know what might be the problem?

this game look cool and nice specially cute characters but the room and channel make confuse, anyway its a good game!

After reformatting I have to re-download this game! Arg!

Well I downloaded it, and when I open the .exe, I see a error message and then it closes up on me.

Hey Im new here and I have a question. How do I install Savior? Like I just downloaded it. It came up as a "ACE" file so how do I install it please do tell alright?

You have to extract the file first, with winACE.
then mount the iso, and run the installation using applocale.
Read the NFO file!

Okay How do I use applocale? This is so new to me. Plus my NFO File comes up Corrupted so please do tell me what do I need to do to finish alright?

Have you read the "General Help" subforum, there is a "How to open the NFO". The NFO is not corrupted.
Open applocale, then click "next", right after that click "Browse...", look for "Setup.exe" or something like that in the virtual disk, then "next" again, choose japanese (VERY LAST of the list) and "next" again and again until the setup starts.

Gonna try and dl this 1 right now.

Well, I open the game, and when I click in New Game, it minimizes, and nothing more happens.

I've done the same thing you said to Setsuna; I've installed that codec, but it didn't really worked o.õ still havin the same problem.

Can someone help me? :x

Please read The General Help Forum and pay attention to "Opening an NFO file" and pay attention to the Checklist as well.

These games really are not hard to play if you follow directions. This is the 2nd game so far that I know of that you are having issues with so I want to make sure that you really are following directions here.

This game never really needed a FAQ. If you google for one I do not think that you will find one.

It's a short game and during the course of the game its pretty obvious what the choices end up being if you just try them. Since this game is 100% animated.

I need some help with a some probs. When in the game menu I press "new game" all I get is a black screen and then it minimizes & I can't watch any of the videos even though I installed the CCCP Codec pack. Could someone help me out?

Make sure that you are following the directions in the NFO. Read it carefully.

Failing that then browse the CD and view the movies manually. This game really does not have gameplay. Your sitting there watching anyways.

for those that have trouble with this game even after installing cccp, i think i found a way to fix it. so you go to the manual that the game provides, scroll down, there should be a section that is titled "《ＡＶＩ再生フォーマット》" click the link at the end of the section and install the intel indeo codec, and then it worked for me.

just downloaded and played this a bit, some hints in case anybody else cares for it:

General movement is done through cursor keys, ctrl speeds up movement. There is no key to pickup stuff, if the storyline requires you to be at a place with an item it will automaticly picked up, otherwise nothing is going to happen although you're standing right in front of it. Game is split between a 3D part where you run around the station looking for hints with everything besides yourself static and a classic text mode where the story gets told (with movies displayed for sex scences). You can't make any choices directly, however there are 2 different endings - depending on which places you visit. Walkthrough/FAQ in japanese can be found at http://www.alles.or.jp/~frd08kg/kouryaku/savior/savior.htm. The middle part with エンドＡ and エンドＢ lists the places you need for either ending (just compare the names to places you see on the map using ESC-key.)
Game including 3D part ran fine for me on a VMWare Workstation 6 with JP WinXP.

I can't read Japanese. For the life of me I can not figure out how you're supposed to play this game. I've read everything here, the files that came with it, and searched the internet for anything. Other people are having trouble as well.



This link looks promising, but it's broken. I couldn't find something similar.

I've gone to every single room on floors B03F and B05F. I'll get a text cut scene from a few places, then if I revisit everything again, even twice over, nothing happens.
My understanding is your supposed to visit a series of locations. When you get to the right place u get a little cutscene with some text. The only things you can do are move around and click through text. The game does the rest. Did I miss anything?
